Dear Students, Staff and Parents JG College of Nursing was started in the year 2006 with all fore sight and vision of our honourable chairman Shri JG Varghese to prepare professional nurses, in order to improve standards of nursing services through quality education. The JG College of Nursing is best college among all private institutes of Gujarat state and we offer different programs in nursing like Basic B.Sc. Nursing, GNM, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and M.Sc. Nursing. Our college has recognition from GNC, INC-New Delhi and Gujarat University.

College is equipped with qualified and competent faculty, good physical infrastructure, library and most importantly students get opportunity for clinical practice in government, municipal and private corporate hospital.

Nursing students do have benefit from contribution of interdisciplinary teaching faculty and ample opportunity for extra curricular activities. We are proud to say that all our alumni are selected in various hospitals, and nursing institutes in Gujarat state , out of Gujarat and foreign country.

High standards and expectations for each student in regard to academic performance, co-curricular participation, and responsible citizenship are the foundation of our college. It is with pride that we hold these high standards and ask each of our students to commit to maintaining the extraordinary record of achievement and contribution that has been the legacy of JG College of Nursing students.

The ultimate goal is to prepare future Nurses, who are excellent clinical analyzers, admirable team workers and life long learners to practice as excellent Nurses in a variety of health care delivery systems such as primary, secondary and tertiary systems. In order to meet its obligation in teaching, research, scholarly activities, practice of service, the JG College of Nursing, strives to maintain high quality faculty who are excellent teachers and expert practitioners, whose contributions are remarkable in the field of Nursing.
